With shady sellers being a common theme recently, I thought I would share what seems to be a very good attempt at a 7823D (WP) G-1 'fake'.
Though, it is not really a fake but rather a (potentially deliberate) misrepresentation.
It looks as though they took an almost mint condition 7823E (AS) G-1 and sewed on a 7823D (WP) Brill Bros Tag to up the price.
The jet black Dynel Collar, the not-so-obviously pressed leather, and the incorrect paper clip zipper head give it away.
But if you hadn't done your research, you may have have been convinced it was indeed a 7823D (WP) Brill Bros G-1.
