How about a nice Tartan for lining?

BK is trying to work out a deal with a Tartan mill to be able to provide tartan linings at competitive prices for the BK civilian jackets to be released shortly.

Some member here I think advised to go for the Black Watch tartan as standard and I would not disagree, but would like to ask the fellow members here if they would be interested in being able to choose from a standard 2-3 colors or would they like to be able to choose from the whole range of 96 colors?

Of course, logistically, it would be much easier to have 2-3 colors, but when talking high end custom made jacket, one should be given the option to choose.

So what do you think?

plain cotton twill, or mole skin in brown, beige, and, or black should satisfy most needs. as soon as ya introduce a colored liner, ya open a picky, picky, picky, can of worms. ie: donch have red and blue, doncha have green and yellow, doncha have tan and black, etc. specialty tartans can be a pricey, where as plain janes are less so. imho

Think that's a great idea. But too much choice not a good thing, pic your favourites and lettue customers choose from them. If you eat any speciL requests that you like too, Blayne add to the list, but offering more than 5-6 to begin with seems a bit decadent.

Do you think you might be able to source old hookless style riveted, cage stopper zips?

Aero points to another site, that of a tartan mill, where customer can choose the tartan he likes.
BK will have a pdf file with all the available choices for tartan.
