Here is a nice photo of two hot shot 4th Fighter Group aces.....John Godfrey in the well worn A-2 and Don Gentile in the B-10. They are standing in front of Gentile's famous razorback Mustang....."Shangri La".

That's a nice well worn crusher thay Godfrey has on.

You triggered me into remembering I had seen one like it in colour. After some thinking, and then looking I found it in "Mustang at War". Here it is:

Thanks a lot for posting that one. The color version is really sweet! It appears both photos were taken within a few minutes of each other. I love those 4th F.G. guys! :cool: ;)

I have checked out other pics of this A2. It has a Crown zip, no collar stand and is most likely a Dubow.
