Hookless zipper: Ever made in brass?

Hi,

I would like to know if one of you experts has ever seen a brass Hookless zipper (the type that is used in ELC Werber)?

Any idea where I could get the rivets that get punched through the leather at the bottom?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Ties,
I've never seen a Hookless zip used in an A-2. They were used in 1920's flight suits, but never in an A-2. If they wanted to be accurate they should have used a stubby Talon.

Eastman would be able to help with the rivet

Hookless zippers were indeed made in brass among other metals. You can find old brass Hookless zips on antique golf bags, purses, etc.
