Your jacket looks to be a variation of a leather Shearling Sherpa style jacket made by Aero USA . Aero USA was the same company as Aero Scotland , but with a representative living in the US . There were some significant problems with the representative and eventually Aero USA was terminated and the representative faced legal action .

Burt, I’m not sure ‘Aero USA’ is anything to do with Aero Scotland. I assume the representative you mention was Mark Moye, but as far as I know he only sold Aero Scotland‘s products in the US-I don’t think he produced anything himself. This also doesn’t look like anything Aero would produce to me, I suspect a mall jacket leather outfit who just thought it was a good name for a ‘flight jacket’ company. I could of course be wrong, as has frequently been the case. :) I can say for certain that this is a commercially produced fashion jacket and most definitely not a military issued one.

You’re correct I was talking about that situation . I realize that there were no jackets produced here but I thought Moye called his part of that deal Aero USA ?
I didn’t realize there was another company in the US using that name or that Aero Scotland would permit the name to be used .
Thanks for your input .
Cheers

I believe Mark was ‘Aero Leather USA’. It wouldn’t surprise me if these guys were operating without Aero Scotland’s knowledge.
