Yes wash it in a washer and then hang dry. You can use a small amount of detergent. Never dry it in a dryer or wash it too much or the knits will fuzz up. You probably have 2 to 3 washing before the knits start fuzzing up.

My thoughts exactly, I’m worried about the knits!! Specially in tan version is very notorious, my green versions are less delicate!!!

I haven't tried dry cleaning but I don't think it is necessary.
Patches will depend on the type but most embroidered patches should be fine in the washer.
Water spots happen on all Nomex jackets. They are not water resistant at all. The best remedy for water spots is to wet the entire jacket and let it hang dry. The jacket will dry without spots.
Washing in the washer will not cause spots once the jacket is dry.

Wash with a specialised detergent designed for showerproof jackets - these are designed to rinse out completely. Use soft or demineralised water in the final rinse. You can buy the the detergent at shops that sell mountain gear etc. Then drip dry the jacket on a breezy day outside zipped up on a good hanger.

Great! I never tried washing in the machine, I always wash them by hand, might try the machine... sounds easier! [emoji1489]
