G1 patching help sundowners

Hello Guys,

i'll received a genuine Brill Bros G1 and would like to patch it with Sundowners/tomcat VF-111 era but i'd like to make the correct patches association (chest/shoulder left-right).

What should be consistant ? Leather or not for patches ? 4inch or 5 ?

i'd go with a leather patch

My Buzz VF-111 has all cloth patches, with the chest patch on the wearer's right side to accommodate the leather name tag. It's based on a Vietnam era Crusader pilot's jacket.

Off course I also think cloth is more realistic but simply like the leather-ones more ...
