Nice one, something for enthusiasts of the Bridges at Toko-Ri.

Haha I'm still in a 40 and a 32 waist and I'm 52 :D
Well, before you get all full of yourself (;)), mine was growth -- not McDonald's. :p

In 1978 (you don't remember then, do you? :p) I was 5 foot 8 and 175 pounds -- 32 waist and size 40 suit.

By 1984, I was 5' 11" and 185 in a 44 suit and 34 waist (16 inch neck). It's all genetics.

But wait... then you start to age... in 2023 (I'm now 63, youngster), after needing to trim down for health reasons, I seem to be shrinking. I'm 5' 10", 160 pounds, still at the 34 waist -- but my size 44 suits fit like bags (again, I question sizing over the eras).

That said, the 42 jackets I still have from the early 80s really don't fit, and the 44s seem baggy. What to do?
