G1 Foster amend#2 1955 patch

Hello !
I've had this jacket for a few years, a 1955 7823(AER) LW Foster Amend#2, CONTRACT N383-22356A 42
the original patches disappeared a long time ago but we can guess that it had its little story (name tag sewn on several times) the most noticeable patch was on the left sleeve, it's a 15x15x15cm triangle (pictures).
As the jacket is from 1955, I looked for what it could have corresponded to afterwards but I didn't find much... any ideas about that patch ?
(On the pictures, the second G1 on the right is my dayly jacket, an AVI Leather based on a 55J Foster)

The name tag was changed usually several times cause the pilot or crew member got a new rank. The triangular patch could be a NAS (Naval Air Station ) patch. They are usually triangular in shape.

There are quite a few of them, for example
Looks more isosclese shaped

Flightengineer : Thx !! At first I thought about something like CVW9 (era), but that's probably a NAS.... and there a lot of NAS ^^

YoungMedic : the triangle is really a 15 x 15 x 15 cm ;)
