G.I. Jacket

Gents,

Been a while since I last listed an item.... but here is my latest creation. The G.I. Jacket.

Made using real U.S. Army Blankets, still made in the USA by only a few companies, since the US Military, to this day, calls out
100% Wool, U.S. sourced, for all blanket productions. These are very heavy, roughly 26oz. Wool and are really very nice to sew.

Leather is from the Tombstone line, as used by our friend JC on several contracts, it is a heavy 3.25oz "Battle Cattle".

Lining is executed in 100% Kona Cotton, in a reddish brown, called "cinammon", as used on several A-2 contracts.

Hmmm... an interesting thought. Though I was looking to include the "hipsters" in my wares, and not so much the purists of vintage. This is the direction that I am trying to take with my brand... classic design aesthetic, with a modern twist... that actually fits properly. This may well be a fools errand however.

That's a great jacket Dave!

Good too that you're offering something new to the market, rather than an existing style. Jacket styles which eventually become classics have to start somewhere...

Cheers,

Jon
