A trade in received from a French customer...
A real rare gem nowadays for french Armée de l’ Air collectors...
Very early ( tan collar) no knits French Airforce from 50’s/60’s Indochina war and Algeria war flight jacket and matching trousers.
Only a few were made like that..
Looks like a mixture of B-15 and Luftwaffe fur fabric Bomber crew jacket/pants.
Minty unworn condition.
The quality of make and craftsmanship is amazing... a real piece of art , the materials used are outstanding... no mass produced “ standards “, “real elite stuff”.
The jacket not to be confused with the profusely available ground crew vests with knits and sherpa collar.

I love it Brice. What I find interesting of French flying clothing of this period is whilst I can see the German influence I also like how you can see the pervading influence of US flight clothing on this (in terms of colour, material and garment features) but at the same time how you can also see it's an evolution of earlier French flight kit in aspects as well.

I love things like this as you know I have a great interest in the development of flight kit.

Thanks for posting, you want to hang onto that set, it's in beautiful condition and is an excellent addition to your already impressive collection.
