Five Star leather A1 flight jacket

I had ordered a custom fit A1 from Shawn in goatskin... they were very efficient and I had my order in just over a week. When I tried on the jacket all the numbers that were asked for fit perfect.... what I didn’t take into account was my arms.. it’s was extremely tight. I contacted Shawn explained what had happened.. his response was .. we just want you happy send us the updated sizes and I will replace your jacket ... no charge.
I gotta say I was skeptical.. well in about two weeks .. DHL text showed saying it wason the way. Shawn followed up with picture and sizes. I got my new jacket and I have to say it’s a very high quality.. extremely well made jacket. The fit and finish is very nice.. hats off to the guys cutting... sewing and assembling the product.
I will be ordering an A2 in horsehide ..russet with seal brown knits very soon. I have to say buy with confidence from Five Star Leather n Shawn.

5 Star really seem to have the potential to be a bit of a game changer. What gets me is the improvements and progress that they've made from mid 2018 or thereabouts when Shawn posted his first jacket here.

If he keeps going at the same rate imagine what he might possibly be posting here in another couple of years!

I swore I'd buy no more flying jackets but I have to say, his Doniger is very tempting but it's his "Air Comfort" that is really giving me the twitch.

Which hide did you choose?

I have a hard time deciphering their selections on their website. There are different prices for the same model with the same decription. Pictures seem to show different pattern/fit, but the sizing/numbers remain the same.

I select goatskin.. very tough... the first jacket( which I still have) was lighter in weight.. this one is thick.. got some heft to it.. just what I ordered. The Russet color is perfect.. not to red more a rust.

The cost to ship back to Pakistan is very pricey... makes returns not worth it. The first jacket I got is absolutely beautiful.. kills me not being able to wear it.

Is Shawn asking for a return?
Maybe you can sell it off here and return the sell price of the jacket to help recover Shawns cost.

Its probably the most cost effective way. Leaves the smallest carbon footprint.

The leather color is ...Russet...the knits are ...seal brown. And it’s goatskin hide. Gotta say it’s nice thick skin too.

And it was a custom...but for fit and sizing only...everything else is stock.. Shawn will work with you.. pretty much what ever you want.
