Five* Rough Wear A2

I pulled the trigger on a Five Star Rough Wear A2 horsehide in pull-up brown. I have had it for about 2 weeks and it’s breaking in beautifully. I have several 5* jacket’s and this is the best one so far. The fit and finish is top notch, the leather is a nice thickness…the sleeves are heavier but the body just right. The color is spot on … a nice reddish brown…more brown then red. My Doninger is kinda purple and I was very worried about it with the rough wear but no problem at all. I went with the olive green stitching and knits that are original to the jacket. Over all I’m extremely happy with this jacket…Sean as always is a dream to work with, no problems at all. This isn’t an off the rack..I did send measurements and the fit is perfect.

I also just received a 27752 from fivestar in brandy horsehide. First impressions are very favourable. I'll try and get some pics up at the weekend if the weather and the Mrs cooperate.

Looks good. How do you like the character of this pull-up brown leather?

The leather color is spot on(imho) the actual construction very good, clean stitching..no loose threads over all very well made. I did notice one thing, the leather thickness on one half of the left sleeve is very thick.. the front right panel ( chest shoulder area is very thin…like gove leather thickness. I was going to text Sean about . Not a deal breaker..but I’m OCD with consistency. still very happy with it … fyi the fit is perfect.
