Gents..

I bid but then the persistent '0' bidder popped up so walked away. Not a fan of shill bids.

If it were a Hartmann I would still be going. Half an hour to run.

Well done...
BTW this so-called LW jacket never existed this way during WW2... A pure invention by ELC after the battle of Britain movie...
Never saw a single photo of such a WW2 (private purchase) jacket...
Plus... all private purchased jackets were seal or russet... never ever black...
No LW pilot ever wore black ( black was considered as a bad omen or as a bad luck attraction ).
All LW leather items were russet or seal ... never black...( boots, shoes, map cases, belts , navigation cases , issued leather jackets... some where blue , dark grey or white ..but never black.)

Dark seal with redish undertones...
...right from the family of a Me-262 pilot.
The second jacket from the same provenance in on its way ...complete with all wiring and heating connectors...

Below some photos of what they might have tried to copy....more or less successfully...
See pockets arrangement ...and others...

Hi Heisenberg,
welcome in the forum...Happy New Year!
Thx for asking.
This one is one of the 3 repros in the whole lot.
This jacket was made by a small family business in France... ( no website, no big internet fan, no big advertising, both are over 65+++yo).
The jacket is a good 42”-44”.
It cost me 1200 Euro...If you order one customer made for you...today, it will cost you 1400 Euro and will be delivered in March 2021 ...according to my last info.
Considering all am, I dont want to loose a cent on it...
PM’s welcome if serious about it.
All the best.
Brice

Thanks for your response , Brice , and Happy new year to you too ;)
is there a big difference in price between your repro and one of your originals? The hard part is a making a choice ... I contacted Headwind for an m422 for sale on their site ... no response

Thx a lot..
The originals if 44” sized ( or more) are the same price...if smaller, the price is also going down....
Side note...all my originals...USAAF, USAF incl. are wearable and unmessed nor holed nor “cosmetically sanitized “.
Edit...the little French artisan, replies within 12H even if in vacation or travelling...they live from their responses...( and mostly work for Japan and China...which are expecting such a fast reaction ).
