Eastman M422a vs 55J14

I had the M-422a from ELC and it was quite long. I do remember Charles telling me that it was longer than the 55J14, which I was also considering.

I have both ELC's in size 44.
The 55J14 is slightly shorter than the M422A, but not by much, as is evident from the following pictures: there the difference isn't even spottable.
I like the fit of the 55J14 on my shape best (a bit more "hugging") but the M422A is a very comfortable jacket too.

Funny difference is, that on the 55J14 I actually can close the throat flap with the button, no chance at all of that with the M422A
