That one's seen some use, but with a little cosmetic care it could be brought back nicely.
Whoa. That is cool looking wear!
Fantastic jacket, I always love the early merino ELC jackets
It could easily be restored and would be great for the right person.
Fleece is in good nick. Might just be me but the flaking of the top coat looks artificially done in places, like it's been deliberately removed to age it.
Still a cracking jacket. There's just something about ELC Irvins which appeals to me over other repros.
Wouldn't let my one go for all the tea in China!
I can't say I'm keen on that jacket. It looks darker than any original I've seen and I've never seen flaking like that on an original.
What could be done about the flaking then? Is that fixable?
I am tempted. If it was a B-3 I would nab it.
I have seen original B-3 flake like this but only a couple of original Irvins. The finish can be restored, but the leather is still likely to flake in other areas.
