I am very excited that I just received by custom made 1940'5-50's Conmar USA reproduction zippers. They came out fantastic! Clones in every way except for the unmarked, slightly bigger Zipper box. So what?!! I love them! Quality is top notch!! The 100% Cotton zipper tape is a dead on match.
The zipper tape is actually a dark brown but my camera wants it to look tan for some reason:

I just procured a LW Foster 55J14 for a super bargain price. It is the same pattern as their AN-J-3a so I will be reproducing both with the correct zippers. The above for the 55J14, a detail no one else has.
Also the AN-J-3a with the proper Talon M42, labeling, and US stencil.

outstanding! finding original conmars is difficult at best. so many of the wwll conmars have that separated tape issue, so, knowing that these are now available will help those in need of a replacement.....assuming that you will sell them individually for restoration. ya dun gud.

Is that 1940'5-50's Conmar puller / slider also made from blackened brass?
