sort of on topic ... what's being issued and on discreet armrgrp etc. wrists nowadays? Suunto, GSAR? Any good?

I really like the Glycine Airman. I owned one for a while, but without the steel bracelet, and it sat a little small on my wrist, so off it went.

My current GMT watch is an Ocean7 LM2-GMT SE, and I have an Omega Flightmaster c911 at Omega right now being restored.

Here's my 1964 Airman-formerly George's. I nearly sold it a while ago (my Speedmaster gets the majority of wrist time) but couldn't bring myself to do it in the end-it's too cool.

Makes me wanna weep to think that someone let THAT happen to a rolex.
I'd rather let the wife end up like that than my GMT I ;)

Get a cleaning/lube/service /regulation, new mineral crystal/ bezel/ and a polish and that will look fantastic. Those old rolex's clean up nice. Now, wish I could say the same for the old "ball and chain"...
