Does anyone have any recommended sources for buying camouflage fabrics for reupholstering etc?
Believe it or not, the Chinese were making all the reproduction of ww2 camo including a denison brush camo that was getting closer to the original hence the turning out of stuff from Barry Lyndon Spearhead and Hong Kong Keith's stuff, some was downright lousy though

I’ve been unable to source Size 8 smocks, in a price I could afford. During Covid Lockdowns I started a project to see if I could identify the 1960’s 1959 Pattern Denison smock. I worked on two of the five variants, being the third and fourth. I added some additional shapes to the pattern. Normandy, Arnhem, Northern Ireland and the Falkland Islands. A nod of respect. I then found someone to print the fabric. One was in cotton twill drill 267gsm and the other in gaberdine. Next was finding someone to make the smocks for me. Several names were recommended, Frank Brown, Steve Kibble, Scott Cross and USV_gear. Frank has a very, very long waiting list. Steve is in a similar boat. Still waiting for Franks to arrive, but this is one made by USV_gear. Really happy with construction. Forgot to explain that the panels front left and right and rear left and right are the same cut and pivot to the tailor. The colour wasn’t quite right. Very steep learning curve, with the last hurdle being colour profiles and print profiles. Finally, after a bit of washing, sun bleaching and a wee bit of dye, this is the end result.

The other veraion, was the third variant of the 1959 pattern, from 62 to 67 ish. On Frank Browns list, but below is a picture I chose to copy the colours from. It’s a new, old stock, unissued. Colours are an issue, as there were several fabric manufacturer, doing small limit runs. As such, colours from an individual fabric manufacturer varied, and varied further between manufacturers. Add to that 60 years of wear and tear, washing and sun bleaching. Below is a picture of the fabric at Frank’s. Can’t wait for the finished article.
