Buzz Rickson Werber B-2

This might just be sacrilege for some but I'm really starting to think that the B-2 (and the B-1 for that matter) are much better looking jackets than the B-3.
Yep, has been my opinion for a decade. Buzz make the best version(I've had all the others)
Bought my first Werber from HPA in 2005.

Best Thanks. I guess I won't able to find one in my size.
No problem, happy to help.i know what it’s like buying a jacket based on marked size only to find it doesn’t fit.Thats why on the few occasions I have sold a jacket I’m happy to have it returned for a fit issue or if it’s not as described. For reference I’m approx 5-9 & 185 lbs.hope this helps ,regards Peter

Here's my B-2. Not period correct at all but the important details are there. Note the bag/patch pocket. It's a Ralph Lauren purple label pre production sample. One of the nicest shearlings I've handled. As far as I know the design never actually made it to their stores.

Looks like it is a single layer garment as opposed the horsehide outer and blanket liner as in originals.
Very nice piece with the correct pocket design.
Yep, single layer. Sleeves are three quarter nylon lined and if you look closely you can see that they even added handwarmer pockets (hidden away in the side seams) in order to make it a more practical jacket that's suitable for a bigger (fashion minded) audience.

For me personally the quality of a jacket in terms of construction and materials used is more important than period correctness. Although I could have done without those handwarmer pockets :)
