It’s a little more snug than my ELC monarch:D

Nice grain and leather is nice. Has some nice wear on it.
    Forgive the camo pants.

I like your Monarch better but then that's a hard one to beat.

Looks great though and the fit is good.

    Hi Jeremiah
For the price that you paid ... a little snug .. you can live with. If you loose 5 lbs or you wear it like you stole it .. it will stretch out a bit and give you a little more room.
    Looks good!!

Thanks. I can drink some gin and get in a few brawls. The right hooks should stretch out the shoulders a tad.

To be honest, I’d just sell this and keep wearing the monarch.

The fit look pretty good to me... It doesn't look as good as you Monarch because you haven't worn it like your Monarch. So put some wear on it, and then take some fit pics. Good addition to your collection!

Yeah. I could always sell but for $300 I will probably keep.
Definitely has some nice character to it.

Just looked at your photos on Imgur, it has a lot of character but because of the lighter color it’s not as noticible as it would be on a seal colored A2.

Yeah. For some reason I can’t upload any pics here so I used a third party site.

I definitely prefer the relaxed fit on these.

It’s fine unzipped but zipped up a bit too snug.

    Scratch that.
Took dog for run. Was 75 and humid out. Ran with that A2 zipped up. Now working on it loosening up a tad. It’s not a bad fit. Just will have to get used to a fitted jacket like this.

Gav, $709 and she’s yours, brother.

Just checked out your last imgur photo.
I like the knits and the overall look.
The hide looks like it has some nice grain as well.
    Overall look is pretty good.
Comparing it to your Monarch is apples to oranges.
Different contracts, different color, different fit, different makers interpretation of that contract.
Throw a couple of light coats of Picards on it if you want it a little darker like your Monarch.
and Wear it like...….yada yada yada.....You know;)

Those are probably two of the most important considerations regarding A-2s. It's quite remarkable just how different contracts can fit of what is essentially the same type of jacket.

    Thanks.

Yeah I don’t want this getting darker. I love the color and know as I wear it the color will begin to get a little darker anyway in areas.
The color on inside of pocket flap is much darker. More Caramel. Definitely has faded from the sun and the way the dye has rubbed off areas like under the arms is so cool. I know it’s not an original but to my eyes it looks a lot like some of the lighter colored ones in my Eastman manual. That’s what caught my eye on eBay.
The monarch will be my main wearer with this as an alternate. Now that jacket season is at a close for me I can save up for the BK in a seal brown.

Yeah, the RW does look very nice. Their Star is also interesting... Have you seen pics of Skip's Werber? Trim, but looks fantastic. Choices.

    Yeah.
The thing is I was ready to place an order. Was trying to get Andy’s opinion on the stock size 36. Never heard back from him. Sure he is busy. Then this jacket came up on eBay and I pounced on it. So now I have to wait a bit to purchase yet another jacket.

Haha - about 4 sizes too small for me. It is a nice jacket of course but if you don't think it fits well....
