Hi,I have an original British ww2 Heated Irvin Jacket. The wires and sleeve plugs are still in place - But the Umbilicals have been cut-off. I am hoping to have them replaced ,but i need to know how long they should be. Can anybody help please?
Also, how should I store these Flying jackets please?
Thanks,

Hey Gary!
Welcome to the VLJ Forum.
I don’t k ow the exact measurements involved however there are a number of photos on the web of electrically heated Irvin’s . Here are a couple which may serve to give you an idea of how long the wired version should be:
As for storing , never place them on hangers but lie them flat in a storage moth proof , ventilated storage bag. Or a cedar chest.
cheers
