Anyone have issues with the SM wholesale double buckles rubber soles wearing down very fast? The rubber is very soft.

Been wearing my Sturm Mil-Tec roughouts and service shoes pretty much non-stop for the last few months and they've been fantastic - go bloody well with a flying jacket too.

Berwick 1707 boots. If you are in the UK, the Black Friday sale is on and they are at £126 reduced from £180. They are much nicer than I expected and still going strong after 4 years. Plus the customer service at afinepairofshoes.co.uk is really really good.

If you’re in the mood for something different than Service boots or Roughout boots , I recommend trying these. They are “ Thursday Boots , the Captain model” The company is located in New York City and the boots’ look good with just about anything except a Saville Row suit . This is their Adobe colored Captain.
The website for those interested is here :

I should mention that these are their wear and forget about them boots . You never need to polish or clean them up . They have dressier and traditional boots as well. Check out their website .
Cheers

I wanted to show you guys another style of Thursdays Boots out of New York City . The last ones I posted in Adobe color most people run hot and cold to . I think these are a little more favorable looking. These are the “Thursday Vanguard” boot .

My ATF Boondockers got a run tonight. Worn in to the point where I don't have to pull half the laces out to get them off! Good times.
