that werber looks pretty good, but why in seal? custom order? gary could make out very nicely selling his repro crown zips......but he will not do it. damn.

Do you think it's an odd color for the contract?

The one ELC makes is an earlier contract. As far as I know BK allows choice of color/leather, more along the lines of options, rather than custom.

The original Werber loaner we used to copy the pattern was russet (on the outside) but when we opened it to repair the collar, it was seal on the inside. A very rich and nice seal.

I think I have photos of that somewhere.

Yeah, I had the Crown squirreled away for almost 20 years.

A friend came across a bin of surplus zips and pulled out the nice ones, Talons too. All gone now.
