Beautiful! I was just gonna open a thread about this, asking how wearable are B-2s, repros or otherwise?I mean is it hard to pull it off wearing one in the street? Do they go well with modern clothing?

Also, were they ever painted,/ patched?

I have a Real Mcoys NZ that i wear in the winter . Looks nothing like these 2 , the shearling seems very thick on it making it look alot bigger than it is .

Lovely hats.
I’d love to find a good mechanics cap myself. Any advice? Good place to look?

I wear mine regularly when it’s cold. I bought it originally to wear with my B-3, which it went really well with. These days I usually wear it with my G-1 or something else of a fairly classic design like an M-65 or Pea coat, or Lee Stormrider. Often had compliments too. Those originals are beauties.

I was always a bit anti those B-2 caps but they've really grown on me in recent years and for here probably not a silly thing to have. You can get frostbite on your ears here in bad weather and a damn sight more stylish than an ushanka which has a spectacularly vulgar name here in Norwegian.
