i think that the seller was hoping, wishing that is was a ticket home, and listed with "enthusiasm". by now, he is realizing that hes got himself a dud, and will be lucky to $50-$75 for it. i do not think that the seller is some kinda crook, just a tad misguided....like, "look what i found in that old ladies attic, its an original rembrandt. says so right there on the bottom of the print"

Avirex is established 1975, so they could not be WW II contractor. Their first contract with USAF for A-2 jackets was from 1998.

We know that-but many still believe the fairy tale that they were-which I believe originated from Avirex themselves.

As i remember they bought Aero leather tannery and they present that fact as "we were supplier of USAAF during WW II".
