A-2 LINER DECORATION

I'm awaiting for a jacket from John. I would like to stencil on the liner my name and other words.
I was thinking about:
R BANDECCA
12TH AAF
or
US PROPERTY
maybe also
ITALY
as base location

I would like to have it made in a perfect correct way.
Is here anybody here that could post some picture of some A-2 liner to use as references?
Thank you
Roberto

Thank you, for the link.
I don't understand, was there some fixed rule for the text or it was a kind of free?

Roberto....all the A-2's I have ever had that had writing in them were only the name and serial number in handwritten marker, usually not done very neat!....But I like the way it was done on this site!......That look might look good in your new jacket..easy enough to do with a stencil......Ciao

Hi guys,

I agree with was said. All I have already seen is name and/or serial numbers stenciled, but I never seen anything about the unit or what else.
here is what is inside one of my jackets :

Thank you for the help to all of you guys.
Than it looks like
R. BANDECCA
without anything else on the jacket would be the best solution.
Which size are the caracters on your jacket liners?
Thank you

Ciao Roberto,

Here is the size of the "H" of "Healy" :
2,5 cm high
1,6 cm large
thickness of the bar : 0,4 cm
Every letter seems to have the same size.

I hope it helps !

Buon domenica.

I fund that in Maguire books there are few pics with liners and names.
There was one with 3 lines at page 86 of "Art of the flight jackets":
NAME
PIL AAF
NUMBERS

Had mine done by Eastman (like on the Monarch):

501 st Para Infantary Troopers / Easy Company (take a look at the site of Mike Bando "Trigger Time")
