I suspect the date of the photo is no earlier than the June 1931, since this was the start of the 1932 fiscal year and the SAT order is dated 1932. The A2 on p. 104 with buttons is the SAT jacket. There are better photos of a SAT jacket from the 1932 contract on pages 148-50 of the Art of the Flight Jacket. This one has the original SAT label.

Ok this is 1932 SAT 32-485 ?

Yes, it's Security Sportswear 32-485, the only known version 1 contract with the buttoned pocket flaps.

I don't have FULL GEAR with me, but it does show pictures of this contract with buttons.
