Thankyou Paul it fits a treat (It's too good for the rest of the jacket!)
You have restored my jaded faith in humanity which is a rare thing these days.
I'm hoping the ALJ will tick all my boxes.
The buckle looks like an original, is it?
Thanks again, John.

I'd like to see a pic of your collection, I'm making an educated gues you have a few?
My original ww2 was a little too small and the zips gave in.
You know the story!!

Hello John, I have several British and American jackets all bought in search of the holy grail ( a good fitting origional) , over the years I have bought and sold many more. My best fitting jacket is the oldest one, a wired Irvin dated 1940. The older ones tend to be bigger sizes and from my experience are better quality.
