By the way, Fellas, I saw a few exact, and some similar, examples of this St. Christopher on ebay the other day. Some are bereft of the prongs or other attaching device, but I opted against a purchase. They look smart, but they would pose a potential problem if worn in combat. I opted for a small St. Christopher that I can hang from one of the neck clips where Capri bells were often seen. I'll post it when it arrives.
Happy Memorial Day to all our vets and members' fathers. Looking at you old sods, I'd say you're my generation, give or take, and it was our Dads and Uncles (maybe an Aunt) who hammered the shit outta the axis assholes.
Rock On.
Cheers,
John

Nice cut. Did it come with that little dohickey thingamajig leather pull thing or did you attach it?
What's the tartan in your new picture? Are you wearing ghillies or Jordan high-tops?
Yeah it came with the zipper pull, and the kilt plain Irish green, I have ghillies and brogues but I'm wearing 18th century, leather buckle latchet shoes and a plain ghillie shirt :)

Today the other G-1 that has undergone the Dynel to Mouton collar change is a 2000 Brill Bros size 48 . For you review and comments . View attachment 110827 View attachment 110829View attachment 110831View attachment 110833

Meanwhile the GW and ELC Monarchs are enjoying themselves and basting in the bright Florida sun.

Burt,

both of your size 48 G1 look outstanding!

Awesome condition as well …

Honestly if I’d live in a sunny area like you I’d pray every day for a next ice-age juts to have a reason to wear those jackets
