The time to send an email to John is before a jacket becomes available. Let him know your measurements and explain that if something becomes available in your measurements or close to your measurements that you would probably be a quick sale . Send that email every few months . Eventually if a jacket does become available, you will know about it before it hits the sales page.
Now I’ve just given away “ top secret” intelligence and will probably be shot at dawn for revealing it to you ;)

Hey Burt!
that is a fairly meaningful advice and I will be deeply indebted to you of course revealing it. Thanks a ton!!!

Yes, that’s the way. Apologies as I thought you were referring strictly to the sales page listings. I’ve pounced 3-4 times in past on those, and always was beat. Someone must have an algorithm alert set on their PC. ;)
Yeah - here we go! First thing in the morning before you start your day is to look up John's Sales Item page .

Yep, Burt nailed it. Best way is if the jacket never hits the sales page. That's how I got both the Switlik M-422 and the B-6.

Oof, and now I'm depressed because it feels like forever since I wore them and it, and it'll likely be forever until I'm able to wear them again. I supposed summer can't last forever. :(

Nah, it's a test jacket for an order I placed about a month after I got in line for the Monarch. I'm still waiting in the queue for the Pancho Barnes jacket, but seeing the test jacket makes the wait easier. JC really NAILED the design.
