Whilst we're on the subject my Switlik M-422 repro from Dave Sheeley did a good job keeping away any chill today.

Had a little excursion to a lovely quiet Norfolk churchyard where Thomas Keppel North is buried. His headstone is topped by a carving of a Vickers Vimy and I'll let the inscription speak for itself: "Here lies all that was good of/Thomas Keppel North OBE/Youngest son of the late Chapel North/of this parish who died at Crayforth in /the county of Kent on the 19th day of February/in the year of our Lord 1919 aged 43 years./He was the superintendent of Vickers/Works and designed the first aeroplane/to cross the Atlantic Ocean./’Seest thou a man diligent in his business/he shall stand before Kings. He shall not stand before mean men.’ Proverbs XXII 20 ". He didn't live to see Alcock & Brown cross the Atlantic and died in the 1919 pandemic.

To my eye, that Norshor Dubow skin has the feel of an original. Aging will take it to another level.

The fit is very good too.

Thank for showing.

Agreed. The jacket just arrived today. I'm already in love, but I can see how much better it's going to look with age. This is Mark's size 40 distressed depot redye test jacket that has been listed in the sale section on Norshor's website.

I know that jacket from the sale page, it looked nice, but seeing it in that light really shows how good it really is. Mark Fisher has skills in making and finishing for sure!

Looking forward to seeing it age.
