彼らは彼らの終わりをかなりうまく持ちこたえて、それを整理するために最善を尽くしたように私には聞こえます。ダメージを見たいのですが、写真のチャンスはありますか?

Keep the replacement and get a raincheck on the repair...

Good to go!

A keeper for life ….
Looks great on you and once again no pre-mature aging was necessary . You just wore the piss out of it … :)

Exactly! All the wear on this one is caused by everyday abuse, nothing more, nothing less!

need to do that with mine. Is that jerky?

Yep, jerky horsehide! As said above, all honest wear and tear!

Edit: that's the beauty of having only one of each type of jacket, you put them to more use and give them that worn-in look and patina

I think jerky (never handled it) may just be the primo Aero A-2 leather. Wish I could show you guys this batch of Vicenza mine’s made from. It’s like the Lost Worlds of A-2s. Nightmare to break in, but I suppose that’s more on me. The leather itself, however, is a beauty, and smells like cinnamon.

Yeah …. I guess two smiles in a row might have been a bit of a stretch for you . But the one was a winner for sure . ;):D

Two in a row is a rare thing at my age and condition :D :D ;)

Subtle British humour there Burt. I would have stayed them in the old time music halls. My agent is going to start taking bookings again very soon.

It’s just great to see you back mate. :)

It's a job to word things so they don't come across as hackneyed or crass but I really, really appreciate that Burt. I may have been given the all clear but the journey is not over yet, I feel just as rough and fatigued as I did before the phone call and some say that can last for a very long time. But it's spring, the warmer weather should be on its way here and we should be able to things that we have not been able to do due to Covid for what feels like an eternity.

Looks like I'm caught up in a non leather related jacket of the day....I'm stuck watching Alien and I decided to wear my non screen accurate jacket. Does anyone remember the A2 worn in the film?View attachment 60301View attachment 60302
Nice jacket , I do remember the A2 from the movie I posted about it a while back in the photo gallery section
There’s apparently a really good painter in my area who does motorcycle tanks and jackets
I just gotta find his number to turn my A2 into a recreation
