Help me ID this A-2 Style jacket ?

I'd like to know if anyone can ID this jacket, it's missing its badge as you can see the pull on the fabric that it has been removed, the lining is black (not found anything similar with a horizontal striped pattern. The epaulettes are missing but can see where they used to be. Conmar Zipper with a unusual straight zipper over the rounded end. I looked at perry civilian jackets but this one has an extra seam on the back of the arm so i'm guessing private purchase. Any info would be great.

1940s? civy goat skin. air associates, civy cooper? or another civy aviation contractor. interesting side panel added between the front and back of the jacket. like 1940s hb jackets. the conmar is a 1942 type [seen only on wwll cooper a-2s]

Thank you, it's a hard one isn't it, did you find anything similar ? i'm hoping to get a repro label made up but of course no clue what to get still.

Based on your zipper pull and some other components, I’d say a Vintage Cooper Civi A2.
Here’s a photo from Gary Eastmans A2 Book which shows why I think this could be a Cooper.

IMHO its an original WW2 military Cooper A-2...just a relined and butschered on some parts and areas...one.....plus/and knits changed.
Good and rare WW2 Cooper A-2

It looks civilian to me. The extra seams under the arms and on the sides of the body plus missing shoulder epaulettes points to it as none military issue, unless as Pilot says its been butchered and bits added in. Seems a lot of effort to make it wearable if true.

Thanks for the replies, it is a wild find as it has many oddities, here is the photo of the epaulette stitch marks that are still visible so it used to have them, also this jacket has sewn under arm holes not rivets.
