Same here... not only hurting the leather but mostly myself, plus me ruining the scissors...That's cool, I wouldn't even have the confidence to start cutting the leather, well done

We wear the jackets with jeans and such so we do not wear an official uniform so no tie needed . I think that he could start a business as Geeboo certainly has an eye for detail and is willing to be guided along with what he misses ,which is not much .

I feel deeply honored & am very happy about all yours +ve comments as I considered all of you are vintage leather jacket wizards - not ordinary jacket players.
Just a side talk, the enclosed right side is my 1st version, which is exactly the same jkt as the jkt on the left with just the pocket flap's shape changed.
Most of the historic pics in fact showed a more slanted flap as opposed to the more rectangular flap. However, after some struggle, I have asked my tailor to change back to what more commonly perceived as what an A1 pocket slap "should" look like, i.e same shape as the original specimen shown in Eastman web-page or book & 2 more specimen I can locate.
