Here are some recent pics.

What is amazing is how well this drapes now that the armor coating was taken off.

Andy did tell me when I bought this off of eBay from a different seller, the best that could be done for this jacket was to strip off this pigment and re-dye. I know it wasn’t what they liked either. They were pretty disappointed actually because the leather underneath was so nice and grainy and gnarly.

I like the grain. I really like the dark seal and red undertones of my arco 4DFE3C16-5AE0-47AA-B5CB-339E99D0C1CE.jpeg though too.

But yeah each is different enough. This dubow really does smell like something either horse or the leather tanning. Even after all the stripping I did to it the smell has returned so it could not have been the smell of the pigment used as I previously thought. It’s a pleasant smell.

Oh yeah?
Not sure how BK would like that. I know Andy was ashamed of that jacket and didn’t want me even associating it with BK when I first got it.

Jeremiah. You should post Your jackets on BK's website. They have that photo contest on.
Sorry that I missed that one. BK would have loved my orange hide, stiching distortions in the neck, wider than higher pockets, pear shaped torso, lizard style of seal coat after a 10 minutes rain walk...brick hard leather after the same walk. Plus the chemical stench.
New owner now wants to get his money back...any buyers here.?

You've really shot that jacket down... I wonder what happened. Others give their BK's great reviews. Did you ever contact Andy and ask him about it?

If I want to shoot down, my lawyers will take over,...pay my laywers a flat rate ( approx 20 GW jackets worth ...the best places to do are the law crasy USA and whats left from “UK” ) per year for almost doing nothing...would love to keep them busy for someting...
NO I did not talk to Andy nor BK, since too late and my other timely obligations...plus..as mentioned already...lost 800Euro..he lost a lot more since...I am open to talk...if he wishes...

Shoot down as to give it a bad review! What I meant Pilot, was that you are very disappointed with the jacket you received. You do not like it. You have told us how bad it is in many respects....And the issues you state are clearly 'issues', so I am wondering how this jacket came to be... If its a standard jacket one can expect from BK or if this was perhaps an apprentice or test jacket... I am wondering only because many others have given good reviews of their BK jackets. I am considering one, and obviously do not want to buy a anything like what you are stating.... I am wondering why your jacket turned out so bad.... ????
