Lol thanks Ken -- I'm already browsing the A-2 offerings at Aero... I'm thinking the "Unknown Maker" Contract No 1756 in Seal... It's a purchase for later this year! I should also remark that my Aero Hooch Hauler gets me comments where ever I go...

That's exactly right Ken! Thanks for all your responses everyone - It is an odd problem, but seems to have happened with more than one of my shirts. Agree with Smithy as the A-2 is not meant as a bit of fashion but was/is military kit. But it does look really good with a nice Italian shirt and tie!

Hi everyone Does anyone else have this problem with A-2 jackets: the rough crown zipper rubs against your shirt, causing damage and piling to the shirt? I was wearing my A-2 with an expensive Italian polo shirt, which has a much more delicate fabric... I noticed the damage before it ruined the...

Well, when I get back to the UK (someday...!) I'll pay a visit to Eastman's in Devon... also had my eye on those Tanker boots. So many nice things to buy...

Hi all -- my Eastman arrived this week from Charles over at HPA. Here are some fit pics below. This is my first A-2... and I think I've nailed it. After some great advice from Charles, i settled on the size 40 Roughwear contract. To be honest, I didn't spend too much time analysing the sizing...
