They are also known as ORCHARD M/C Dist. They made G-1 jackets in 1986 under government contract. it is unclear if Branded Garments or Orchard M/C ever actually had a contract to make any A-2s for the Air Force but they made them for the general market. They also made S and L in many of the sizes.

it should be mentioned that these are shoulder slip-ons and not the one I am seeking.
I am sorry but I have never actually examined one up closely. It is just a cloth slip-on much like a shoulder strap slip-on with one or more bars indicating rank. However it is smaller than the shoulder slip-on tt would not fit on the attachment strap on the front of the jacket.
