Since Christmas I've been the proud owner of a Bronson MFG B10, and what a pleasure it is! It keeps me so warm!
My AVI M422-A was starting to feel a bit (very) light in this mild but still cool December.
I can't wait to take some photos and review my impressions. Even if many of you are already...
Thanks Greg for this video, it's so rare to be able to see a test of a replica jacket on video, but so nice to be able to see what it looks like in motion and not just in photos.
The B3 is on my list, but it's not wearable enough to be the next one, but your video really makes me want to give...
Wow ! I don't know enough about it as you experts do, so I can't say if this jacket is or will ever be wearable, but historically it's a very interesting piece!
Great ! I didn't know that they were also selling Avi stuff, It's cool to know that we begin to find some stores were to buy (or try) this kind of material, like it was possible at the time when there were Avirex jackets almost everywhere. And for the delivery time and price, with no customs...
Hi guys, I just received the USAAF type A-10 gloves manufactured by Fivestar today.
I chose the "seal brown" version because in the pictures i thought it will be great to wear with my future Bronson B-10 jacket, and at first glance they look great and will do the job!
After talking with Shawn...

Thank you very much! I had indeed started looking at these, but their price and the fact that I'm thinking of getting a Bronson B10 for the winter make me want to get USAAF gloves first rather than USN, as my M422-A is a bit thin for winter ;). So I'm investigating in that direction at the moment.
Has anyone on the forum bought Fivestar A10 gloves?
I need a new pair of gloves for this winter, and I really like the colour of the A10 "reddish brown" (and of course the price which is very attractive too!).
What's your feedback on this article? Any advice on sizing?
Thanks in advance to the...
Thanks for the advice. The tape followed by the cold water rinse worked well. After a night's drying there are no more traces of pollen, although it was well embedded between the threads of the knitwear, so I'm satisfied.
