How many days should I wait between rubbing Vaseline once and doing it again?

I bought it on ebay a few weeks ago And i found that jacket is stiff, so i put on leather cream after dry-cleaning. But there’s still no softness, and it looks little awkward. Especially, the arms. Anyway, is there a way to recover its flexibility?

Seller asked $220. And there are no other damages. I checked the pics again, suddenly wrinkles seem normal to me!
