for those who are interested in N1- there is a very nutritious post. the comparison of a fur cuff c.1943 vs a non-fur cuff c.1944 is especially rare & informative. I have seen hundreds if not thousands of info. on N1 & this is absolutely THE BEST one - par none.
For the cloth, i tend to agree...
Fairly recently in Oct22, a pair of 1890 201 jeans was sold @ US$87k in US, then subsequently sold at a higher price to Japan. As I cannot afford to pay almost US$200,000 for a 1910 jacket & 1890 pants, I have accidentally picked up a pair of fake in a local flea mkt.
Pls noted that 1 important...
Just shifted to other hobbies of painting pics. stopped the clothing fever - but clothing always locate at the back of my heart. Recently (last yr), acquired a pair of fake single stitched levis jacket & jeans ( ~the earliest! 1890) in a local flea mkt . Not sure where to post them here, if...

Silver,
I am glad U like it. I am afraid it is not cost effective to do embroidered patch to sell as it takes so much time. If done by machines, yes; if done by hand, no no.

That is a vintage polo patch sewn on a type III jacket - the quality of the patch is excellent, but the result is just..... lacking of the little "ding" look.... That leds me to do my own Indian chief head embroidery - i want to get an Exact copy of the one in the book of the King of Vintage.
When I 1st saw this jacket from the book King of vintage, I immediate like it by 1st glance. I want to own it.
Not until 2 yrs approx., I started to source an Indian chief head patch & sew it on a type III jacket. The result is ok but still is not what I want.
Then not until very recently I...
