Post Pics of You and Your Bikes

In the UK and most of Europe it was part of a Youthculture thing, as teenagers a lot of us were scooterboys in the 1980’s (not mods) and we rode up and down the country to attend rallies, often 100’s of miles, to get drunk with our friends from around the UK. Now we’ve grown up we do eactly the...

Post Pics of You and Your Bikes

An original paint 1960 Lambretta Li150 Series 2 found in a barn in Sicily. I’ve stripped and rebuilt the engine, added some go-faster parts all with the assistance of a good mate who’s very nifty in that department. Just needs a UK registration and the carb jetting and it’s all ready to roll.

    Frank Ryan’s jacket

Yet the allies used similar intelligence in Germany, how do we view them? Despicable or essential to the Allied war effort? The Provisional IRA bombings didn't start until 1969, prior to that the IRA (not Provisional) was seen by many as a legitimate army fighting an occupation force. War...

    Bronson N1 washing question

I washed mine warm however the idea was to obtain shrinkage as it was oversized on arrival. The warm wash tightened up the jungle cloth weave and now it looks and fits perfect. I would say it dropped a full size. I have 3 N-1's, a Real McCoys (which I'm selling) a Buzz and the Bronson and the...

I never thought I'd say this about a whistle but that is beautiful Carl!

    Acme whistles

https://ibb.co/0ttQsJF There's not a lot in it, still the basic design, this is the one we use on the fireground. It's pleasing to see a design largely untouched. I would love to get my hands on an AM though!!

Topic for Conversation : Why are members leaving VLJ?

I do love this place, I don't really post anymore as my interests have shifted away from the military to British workwear but I still lurk as there is a wealth of information to be had. I've noticed that quite a few people don't post here anymore and it seems to have coincided with two things...

Ha ha ....you have to laugh....

It's crazy money for fashion conscious miltaria. They make their products to very high standards but they aren't to built to our nit picking standards(I mean that as a positive). I was drunk and happy in Covent Garden last year and bought an N-1 from the RM shop. It looks great, is warmer than...

Bill Kelso vs GW Roughwear A-2 27752

May I ask what on earth the point of this thread is and is it possible to take the obsessive borderline nutjob BK bashing elsewhere? Frankly it’s bananas and a firm indicator how completely dumbed down and tit’s up this forum has gone. Before you ask I’ve never owned a BK and never will and...

    Question: Nos in Deck Jkt

I have one A-2 with three names written on the front, 2 crudely crossed out so it would fit with the idea of a jacket pool. There are several stencils on the back, faded but you can still make them out. I'll photograph it and post up.
