Finally the temperatures are getting cooler! Ideal weather for the "Hartmann".

Kermit it has probably been asked or on here somewhere but what trousers are you wearing in those pics
Jacket looks awesome
Thanks blackrat2, pants are the "Albert" model from the brand "l'Egoïste".
It's a bit expensive but the quality is excellent.
It's a pair of "pantalons à pinces" (I don't know how to say it in English... "darts pants" ?) with a vintage cut . The waist is high, which is necessary for this type of jacket.

They make a model with cargo pockets that I would love to try...

I agree with @blackrat2 , very nice look, @Kermit3D . Who made the rough-out boot, and are they dubbed?
Thanks Jan,
It's Mil-Tec's Roughout boots. I've been wearing them for a year and a half, almost daily (except in the summer), I'm very happy with them.

What do you mean by "dubbed"?

Dubbing is a treatment to water-proof rough-out boots. At the Front describes it better than I can:

Oh yes, I see !
Yes, I did use "Sno-Seal" beeswax on them a year and a half ago. I should apply this treatment again before winter.
Here are the boots before and after the treatment :

Wore my ELC 1401 to the library and grocery store this morning. Tried for a selfie, but just can't pull it off.

Will be driving to Michigan later in the week for lessons from Jan. :)

Paid a visit to my one of my local aviation museums today, at the former RAF St. Mawgan, now Newquay airport. Been before, but due to a useless, self-serving local council, it’s under threat of closure, so we popped over for what might be the last time. It was pretty draughty, so I was glad of the Bronson N-1. They’ve acquired a couple of new Tornadoes since I was last there, plus the Lightning, previously wingless in the hangar, has been reassembled.
