Norshor Aero A-2: is it a good jacket?

Hey gang, I’m thinking about getting an Aero from mark at norshor and I was just wondering how good they are. I don’t think I’ve seen much about them on here?
Any reviews/advice would be appreciated.
I like this one:

Mark does a great job. I am a previous owner. JC recommends him highly as well!!!!

If I were in the market for a custom leather jacket, Mark would be on my very short list of contenders.

I think the only thing with Mark is a more limited list of options/types of jackets, available hides, etc. compared to some other folks but I am sure he can get what is needed.

Yea I’m not worried about the limited options. I’ve pretty much made up my mind to get a seal aero w/rust red knits like in the picture. I emailed him a few days ago with my measurements. So now I’m just waiting to hear back from him. I don’t plan to have loads of jackets but I think one patched up russet and one unadorned seal will do.

I can't comment on the actual jacket, but from the ones that were posted here for sale and seen here and there I would go his personal technique of overdyed and then weathered to achieve a vintage look. Very convincing and certainly has the age look and feel from the get go. How it will really age and react to time is to be seen. I would not hesitate to go for a brown Aero and overdye in dark seal personally!

I’m not big on the aged look. I want a regular jacket that will age on its own after years of hard wearing.

It would be nice if I could peruse the sale pages and greedBay, but I’m too big for the average jacket. Most all I see are 42-44 it seems. I’m always going to need at least a size 52 by virtue of my broad shoulders. I need 24 inches across the back for a layer or 23 for T shirt only.

he made a capeskin jacket for me - superb job but I didn't really care of the hide. I think I signed off on it with photos of hide. perhaps I should have gotten a sample, maybe I did, if so its hard to tell in any case.

Not had one of Marks A2’s but have thoroughly recommended more than once, his A1 that I’ve now had for a good few years - was actually known then as Superior Flight Apparel! If I wanted another A2 I wouldn't hesitate!!

FWIW...I think the aged jackets look better and more authentic in person that they do in Mark's website and social media photography. The contrast in the overdyed and weathered areas are less pronounced than they appear under bright photo lights.
