What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

It’s honestly too hot for a jacket today ..but .. just to keep the thread moving,
It’s an Aero of Scotland Vincenza Horsehide repro of the original WWII Aero 15142P contract in a size 46. It’s a very comfortable 46, that can accommodate wearing a warm sweater underneath. ( the right cuff is there it just got sucked up into the sleeve ):)View attachment 79128View attachment 79127View attachment 79129
Nice, I have the 15142-P Realdeal in russet with brown knits. Bought it in 2005. How prices have changed since then. Had it fitted with NOS Talon when the factory copy zipper went bad.

Those “real deal “ Aeros were decent looking jackets with a little wonkyness thrown in here and there, duplicating an original WWII Aero issued A2. But like most of the manufactures, the prices have gone up over time .

It's very nice - it wouldn't be yours, would it? ;)
It's a possibility. :)

It's pretty funny in that I completely forgot I'd sent that to John to use for the documentation so many years back.

Last year I was looking through the DVD and saw it and thought, "Wow, that's the same make and model as mine. Wait a minute..." :D

Yeah, it's hell to get old.

Made-from-scratch DIY Hartmann Jacket. It's all wonky If you look at it close up, but for an experimental first time working with leather i am quite proud of the Outcome
Congratulations ! That's really impressive for a first experience.
We want to know more. Do you have any pictures of the manufacturing process ?
What kind of leather is this ?
You should make a dedicated thread.

Haven't posted in here for yonks...

We had the shittiest winter in 30 years here and it dragged on and on so I was wrapped up in the Irvins and B-10s if I was lucky of late but more often a modern parka or that Wehrmacht '44 pattern parka thingie I have.

Thankfully the weather gods have started to smile and I've been using A-2s or if they've really cracked a big face splitter, no jackets whatsoever like today, which here in Arctic Norway is a pleasant surprise.

Sorry no pics as you've seen all these jackets numerous times in this thread and no doubt been bored by them multiple times as well!

No piccies all talkie ;)
