Just found a fantastic little shop up the road from my "local" (Aussie for pub/bar) that I frequent on a Friday with friends....
It's full of bloody good "Froggie" military and civilian clothing and footwear.... and low and behold they have my "Holy Grail"....a actual legitimate issue French airforce flight jacket....in a man size.....that's not totally trashed and they weren't asking for a exorbitant price for it haha
I've been hunting one down to go with my German Airforce and British airforce "Typhoon" jacket.
Now all I need to do is smuggle it past the better half.....
The Wilde Merchant is the name... apparently they have a website and a substantial presence on Etsy and I'm pretty sure they don't fully comprehend some of the gear they have (got a TAP47 "leopard" jump smock for $110AUD which I'd have jumped at if I didn't already have one)
Edit: I'll post pictures in the morning to show off the lovely shades of blue

I'm not so sure now now you say that.....since the only label I can find legible is for "real leather" but it does have pin holes in the right spot for the sizing info

After my lovely dinner with friends I saw a good friend of mine who happens to also be the only guy in Australia that knows what a Norwegian welt is as well as the only cobbler I've come across who has saphir in stock (got some blue creme for my Victoria police jacket, which thankfully is the same shade as this French jacket)
He's convinced that it's the real deal but noticed that the liner isn't original to the jacket due to some misaligned stitching around the wrist cuffs and the neck..... and going through the posts on here and my personal interest I've had in this type of jacket about this style of jacket I think I have a earlier model with the oval side pocket.... and now I've discovered what the buttons around the neck (never seen one with a fur collar before I saw this site)
