its been a while and currently out to sea. Family went to buy me a Bronson but my size was out of stock so instead they got me the non stock for xmas. haven't seen it yet but super stoked on getting it! Anyone have pics (other than the ones on the manufactures) of their non stock deck jacket? I'm kinda bummed about no Bronson but the non stock looks pretty good to me

I wanted to buy a Bronson N1, the website still says black friday 20% off with no code needed, but I don't see any discount when I put the jacket in the cart, is $179.99 already discounted? I don't think so but I don't remember if the price before the black friday was 179.99, and there is no online chat available right now to ask. Anyone can give me a quick reply? Thanks

All my ELC jackets are 38 and fit perfect
Do you recommend to go one size up with bronson's jacket ?
Many thanks

Sizing up allows some flexibility with the under garments. Should be plenty of informed commentary on the Bronson sizing for this type of jacket.

My N-1 is from Non Stock, in 44 – max Size o_O
It was just a little big on me, so I washed it.
Now it fits perfect.
So, you should think about shrinkage too…

The photos may NOT REPRESENT the current production Batch!

Since i buy from them there have been some changes / mods / improvements inbetween the different production Batches so it might be that there are differences in some smaller details

Today I received N1 from NonStock.
One my friend here owns Bronson N1 and I was holding it in my own hands, this is a good jacket, as many said here, but for my purposes it seemed a little heavy and I deliberately went to NonStock version. Despite the faux fur it looks great and is very cuddly, the shell is made of less dense cotton and therefore the jacket is lighter, which is what I wanted.
Really like this jacket, very decently made for little money. 42 size fit well for me, thanks to Serban @BadMofo for help with sizing.
I'm not a big fan of the NAVY, but I've wanted a not very thick and heavy N1 version for a long time.
It's funny that it has a cheap repro Conmar zipper made by Ideal (it has modern repro Talon shape but with Conmar inscription and without puller), and not Talon like on most Bronson jackets. Otherwise, I like the quality, although I understand that this is probably not the perfect repro, but it gives the look that I wanted and that the main thing is a very comfortable not heavy jacket.
Also want to say that the measurements on the Bronson website are accurate, at least for my jacket in size 42 they turned out to be exactly as it is written there.
Now it in the washing machine to remove the new look and smell of the new jacket. Will probably be patched and stenciled like Thomas's jackets.

Dmitry,

nice buy!

If you need some photos as input for markings just let me know ... - i got a couple of period pics on my harddrive

Thomas

Thank you my friend, this NonStock N1 is a newer gen and faux fur looks good, much better than their first batch of jackets that I saw a couple of years ago in the photos.
For now I'm analysed pics that you sent me, and haven't yet decided how to mark/stencill it, but I'll be glad to receive new photos, maybe I need to give you my email, I no longer remember whether you have it or not.
