Hello All,

Anyone knows good repairing serices (changing cuff and waist knits on an A-2) for flight jacket in Continental Europe?
Of course, there are Eastman and Aero but with these new UE regulations on taxes, I fear it will add a considerable amount of taxes.

Thanks guys

Bill Kelso did my ELC A-2 knits, it was back when they started, and were doing them free for the cost of postage. Pretty sure they don’t do that any more, not sure if they still do it at all, but they did a good job. Worth enquiring.

Hello All, My first post on this forum! I have used Dena’s services for new replacement knits on an A-2 from THE FEW. From start to finish she is a class act! Sent her the jacket, she called to discuss the details and pricing (A very friendly lady!), completed the project beautifully and shipped it back in a little over a week. Only place I would send future jackets! I believe it ran me about $125 for all 3 knits.

Welcome to the forum .
Were the knits used period correct seamless wool knits, that would have been correct on the original jacket ?

It was more of a ‘house pattern’ A-2 as I recall (have since moved it down the road) but the knits were nice medium brown in correct weight. Dena asked lots of questions to ensure we were on the same page. She does repairs on original jackets as well. All seamless knits.
