SoF Summer Chinos

I've been umming and ahhing about these for awhile but just now pulled the trigger.

Absolutely no idea what they'll be like, I've seen no reviews around here or elsewhere but the price was good and I like how they look in their photos.

Anyway I'll post a review when they turn up. SoF are usually pretty quick with their mailing of stuff.

I have a set of WWII Impressions USMC khakis... now ATF are doing the USMC I MIGHT commit to a pair of original SGT chevrons.... excited..

Keen to see what you think of these... Any idea who makes them? Is it Replicaters in India...

No it's Kay Canvas Couchy, the same crowd who make their AN-6505-1 bag. I love the bag and it's held up brilliantly over the 3 years I've had it so I bit the bullet and thought I'd give their chinos a go

Where are Kay Canvas located? Is it label engineering?

Just took a look at the website... About us content is not there. Very WPG feel to their gear...

Histor Bunker are another organisation aiming at Victorian, WW1 and WWII kit... They retail kit made on the subcontinent.

Man the Line do Chinese stuff (as do ATF)..

The Denison smocks are well regarded so I think you will be impressed with your buy?

So I'll have to reserve judgment when they turn up. Their aviator bags as I've said before are just awesome and solidly made. Hopefully their strides will be the same.

I know I asked this before, but are they still breaking in or have they loosened up a bit ?

They're loosening up nicely. I put some of those Scholl gel insoles in them and they are great to wear. They'll go nicely with these chinos hopefully!

No worries Chris, I'll post some pics and thoughts when they turn up. SoF are usually pretty quick in getting stuff to me so hopefully won't be too long.
