Well, after a year of not wearing this lovely jacket due to a broken zipper, I am wearing the heck out of it now !
Now it has a non standard zipper, it has zero re-sale value and i love it so much it is a keeper for me anyways, so should i or shouldn’t i patch it ? And if i should, what with ?

I saw the photo of the Korean War 335 FS version on the ELC website photo so I bought these to do mine with . I just haven’t gotten around to patching it the last 3 years  What do you think ?
A little too understated ?

I’m lucky to have a very good (& gorgeous) Polish lady who has a shop in my town.
She’s currently doing repairs to the inside thighs of some expensive LVC’s.
Her husband did my zipper. He also put in a NOS NZ zipper into a Denison Smock & did an amazing job.

That is one mahoosive patch Burt ! I like it but ...... or perhaps the pic i saw was on a 36” jacket.

No doubt about it … it’s a mother of a huge patch . Even on my 46 it looks large . That’s the reason I didn’t patch the jacket . But it still sort of looks cool .
